 Register only with such networking websites that keeps an eye on user activities from time to time.

 Never reveal sensitive information related to your personal contact number and address to an unknown, unidentified person.

 Do not send photographs to unknown strangers you meet online.

 If you need to meet a new friend from the net in person, choose a public place than a secluded area so as to minimize a personal threat to your security.

 When or if you sense danger or hatred or fanatic ideas from the other unknown person, do not continue with any kind of association with him and avoid him completely.
